The Armenian national football team represents Armenia in international competitions and is part of the European football association UEFA. Since its establishment after the country's independence in 1992, it has participated in qualifications for World and European Championships. Among the team's most famous players are Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Sargis Adamyan. Armenia is considered an emerging football nation in European football.
