Sporting Cristal is a Peruvian football club from the capital city of Lima. The club was founded in 1955 and plays its home matches at the Estadio Alberto Gallardo. Sporting Cristal is one of Peru's most successful clubs and has won numerous national championships. The club also regularly participates in the Copa Libertadores.
